I need to put this thing in front of my shower.
If you're looking for a reason to crack that next cold one in the shower, look no further.
Cheers :) Rudy P.S. Summer officially begins on June 21st so don't forget to stock up on some local seasonal ales! Support your local craft brewers! Wish more people were like Good Guy Greg. ![]() Let's talk hypothetical: If you HAD to choose only one specific beer to drink the rest of your life, what would it be? The great minds over at Drinking In America asked a group of beer lovers this exact question and gathered some interesting answers. Would you pick any of these below?
This article from 4 Home Brewers shares some interesting stats that state for the third year in a row, beer consumption in the US has decreased. While this might be true, I'm thinking that the surging popularity of shower beers will put us back on track in no time :) Click the image to see the full story.
A long time ago, a friend of mine emailed this article that lists out 55 Beers That Will Knock You Flat On Your Ass. He dared me to attempt to try each one, but I enthusiastically declined. I wasn't too familiar with many of the brands and I wasn't exactly a huge fan of dark ales. Well, that was 3 years ago, and I now realize that over the past couple of years, my palette for beer has changed. Thick, hoppy craft beers are now a staple item in our fridge and I find myself stalking most of my local breweries to see if they are releasing any limited edition taps or seasonal flavored batches. Don't get me wrong, there's still a time and place for putting away a case of Lone Star, but most of the time, I'm looking for something with a little more flavor creativity.
Maybe it's time for me take a look at the list again and try out a few of these bad boys. Are there any you would recommend I try first? - Rudy The good peeps over at FoodRepublic have put together a cool list of great craft beers that will be available by can in 2013. While I'm personally a "bottle" guy, I'm not against expanding the ways I can add alcohol to my system. I assume all those people who state that "good" beer only comes in bottles will have to change their tune. Would love to know your thoughts on this? Here's the list:
1. Deschutes Brewery Mirror Pond Pale Ale 2. Dry Dock Brewing Company's Hefeweizen 3. Brewery Vivant's Tart Side of the Moon 4. Uinta Brewing Company's Baba Black Lager 5. Brasserie St. Feuillien's St. Feuillien Saison 6. Ballast Point Brewing Company's Sculpin IPA 7. SanTan Brewing Company's Mr. Pineapple 8. Bronx Brewery's Pale Ale 9. 21st Amendment Brewery’s Lower De Boom 10. Evil Twin Brewing Bikini Beer To see the entire list and get more details, click here. -Rudy |
